Jumps jockey Paul Hamblin has been stood down pending a Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board hearing into alleged betting activities.
Victorian stewards have charged Hamblin with placing 39 bets, totalling $620, on races in Victoria and interstate during a three-day period last month.
They opened an inquiry into the matter after receiving a tip-off.
None of the bets were placed on races in which Hamblin was involved.
A date has not yet been set for the hearing.
