Black Revolver to Fire His Best Shot

Friday 9 May 2014, 4:57pm

After a very impressive first up run at Warwick Farm on Anzac Day, Black Revolver steps back out at Rosehill tomorrow in the Ken Callander Fellowship Hcp over 1200m at 2.05pm. Although he is looking for a little further second up, a win tomorrow would not be out of his grasp being back on his home track and drawing well in barrier 1.

Top jockey Jim Cassidy has been booked for the ride and he should get the run of the race from the inside gate. Trainer Chris Waller mentioned about the draw “This should enable him to get a nice, economical run and hopefully be there ready to sprint at the top of the straight”. He went further to say “It could be a bit short but I would at least expect him to be hitting the line strongly in the concluding stages”.

Black Revolver posted the fastest finishing sectionals of the day at Warwick Farm on Anzac day and should strip fitter for this race. We expect to see him right in the finish and wish our owners all the best for tomorrow.
