California Chrome has won the Preakness

Kentucky Derby winner California Chrome has kept the Triple Crown dream alive with victory in the Preakness Stakes at Pimlico.

The colt took the lead at the top of the straight and drew away from Ride On Curlin inside the final 200 metres.

He now heads to the Belmont Stakes to try to complete the Triple Crown which no horse has done since Affirmed in 1978.
