Nathan Berry and Jenny Duggan were winners on the track at Rosehill on Saturday but losers in the stewards room.

Berry's poor record with careless riding suspensions continued when he was outed for six meetings for contributing to interference to Agent Baeur at the 200m mark of the Pure Romance Handicap when he rode Circle Of Power.

Stewards ruled Christian Reith also contributed to the incident which was taken into account when assessing penalty, but Berry's poor record added a premium to the ban.

He starts the suspension November 26 and he can return on December 7.

He had earlier won on the David Hayes-trained Rose Pattern.

Veteran sprinter Ollie Vollie provided apprentice Duggan with a Ladies' Day win in the Styletread.com.au Handicap but a shift approaching the finish line earned her a five-meeting suspension for interference caused to Kathy O'Hara's mount Welkom Gold.

"The worst of the check is over the finish line, but the ground is no softer there," chief steward Ray Murrihy told Duggan.

Duggan said the horse was tiring and had noticed the corner coming up after the post, which drew a quick response from Murrihy.

"That's why we put riders on and give you a set of reins, so you can steer them."
