Country life suits Gordon Yorke and he believes it has also revitalised new acquisition Hidden Warrior who has his first start for the trainer in the June Stakes.
A Group Three winner for Newcastle's Paul Perry in October 2012, Hidden Warrior has had a few niggling problems which have prevented him showing his best.
Yorke, who moved from Wyong to Coffs Harbour a few years ago, took over Hidden Warrior after the four-year-old's unplaced run in the Magic Millions Sprint in January.
The gelding's two recent barrier trial wins by a combined 18-1/4 lengths, have convinced Yorke he is ready to return to Randwick on Saturday where his latest appearance resulted in a second to Dances On Stars in the Listed Carrington Stakes on New Year's Day.
"He's had a few little things bothering him in the past," Yorke said.
"But he's very relaxed now and has had a personality turnaround.
"He seems to respond to the lifestyle and my apprentice Kaylee Kirkwood has really clicked with him and spends a lot of time with him.
"His owners, the Heber family and I go back a long way so they sent him to me to see what I could do with him."
Kirkwood rode Hidden Warrior in his two trials, the first an 8-1/4 lengths win on a heavy Coffs Harbour track and a 10-length romp at Grafton last Friday week.
Josh Parr takes the reins in Saturday's Listed 1100m sprint for which there were 18 entries taken on Monday headed by the Les Bridge-trained Avoid Lightning and problem-plagued veteran Mic Mac from the Paul Messara stable.
There were 12 nominations for the Stayers Cup (3200m) headed by Permit and Destiny's Kiss who were both also entered for the Brisbane Cup (2400m) on the same day.
Permit's Chris Waller-trained stablemate Secessio is also nominated for both races.
