Munce suspended at Doomben

Top jockey Chris Munce will miss next week's Group One Tattersall's Tiara meeting after being suspended at Doomben on Wednesday.

Munce, who rode Twisted Mountain in the Yellowglen Handicap, was given a seven meeting ban for causing intereference to Travis Wolgram's mount Townie.

The suspension starts after Saturday's Ipswich cup meeting and finishes on Thursday June 26.

It was only the third time Munce has been suspended in the past three years.
