Leading jockey Michael Cahill's return to form with a double at Ipswich on Saturday was soured by a suspension.
Cahill put a run of 54 outs behind him to increase his premiership lead with a double on The Inventor and Olympic Anthem.
However, he pleaded guilty to causing interference on The Inventor at the 200m in the Provincial Cup (2150m).
Stewards suspended him from midnight next Saturday for seven meetings to Wednesday July 2.
Jockey Brad Stewart was also suspended for nine meetings for causing interference on Steel Zip in the Eye Liner Stakes.
His suspension will also begin after next Saturday.
