The upcoming feature sprints for three-year-olds will come into focus for Zeletto if the colt can impress in his city debut at Caulfield.
Zeletto began his career with a convincing five-length win at Werribee last month and trainer Luke Oliver's spring plans for the colt will be guided by how well he handles the step to city class in Saturday's Ascend Sales Trophies Handicap (1100m).
"He will definitely have a little break after tomorrow regardless of what he does," Oliver said.
"If he was to win and be impressive winning, you would certainly map out something during the spring for him and work out a way to get there."
Oliver says races such as the Blue Sapphire Stakes and Coolmore Stud Stakes would be among options should the Snitzel colt impress again.
"If he was to be good again tomorrow we'd definitely look at races like that," he said.
Zeletto, a three-quarter brother to Listed winner Cruden Bay, was an $80,000 yearling at the 2013 Magic Millions sale at the Gold Coast.
The two-year-old's debut win backed up what he had shown Oliver in trackwork and jumpouts.
"It was no surprise for us that he won like he did because he has always shown us a fair bit in trackwork and trials," the trainer said.
The form out of the Werribee maiden on heavy ground has stood up with runner-up Zebulon winning at Flemington last Saturday and fourth-placed Bulls `n' Bears finishing second to the Chris Waller-trained Dupe `Em at Sandown on Wednesday.
Zeletto is the $3.50 favourite for Saturday's event despite drawing one from the outside in the 14-horse field.
"If he is as good as we're hoping he is, he's going to be pretty hard to beat tomorrow," Oliver said.
Oliver also has three-year-old Jessy Belle in Saturday's Sportingbet.com.au Handicap.
Oliver says if the consistent filly runs well she could back up at Flemington the following week in the $120,000 Rivette Series Final (1600m).
