Cox Plate-bound Hong Kong galloper Dan Excel has finished quarantine in Sydney ahead of his Australian spring campaign.
The last-start Singapore Airlines International Cup winner completed two weeks of quarantine at Eastern Creek before moving to owner David Boehm's property, Muskoka Farm, on Monday.
Dan Excel, who is trained by John Moore, will spend a few weeks at Muskoka Farm on Sydney's outskirts before going to the Rosehill stables of Moore's brother Gary.
"Dan Excel arrived safe and happy at Muskoka Farm from quarantine at Eastern Creek," Wendy Lapointe, from Muskoka Farm, told Racing Victoria.
"He's been locked in quarantine for a month now so I'm sure he'll be pleased to start work again and the farm will provide the ultimate environment for him to stretch his legs.
"The plan is for him to be in work for between two and three weeks here before being transferred to Gary Moore's Rosehill stables."
Dan Excel was ridden by Tommy Berry to win Singapore Airlines International Cup in May, having been placed in three Group Ones in Hong Kong at his three previous starts.
