Victoria Derby winner Polanski will begin breeding duties in September after connections struck a deal with a stud.
Polanski was a $4000 yearling but returned more than $1.1 million to his owners after Robbie Laing prepared him to win at Group One, Group Three and Listed level.
An injury sustained in the Group One Futurity Stakes in February ended Polanski's racing career.
West Australian breeders considered standing the colt but the rising four-year-old will stand at Roycevale Farm at Violet Town in Victoria.
"Excited to announce Polanski will be standing at stud this season @ Roycevale Stud Violet Town. Further details coming soon. Can't wait," Laing tweeted on Sunday.
Roycevale Farm will release Polanski's debut stud fee in the coming weeks.
Polanski is by Rakti, a six-time Group One winner in Europe who died at Victoria's Chatswood Stud in 2010 after shattering his pelvis in a stable accident.
