Sire of seven Group One winners from progeny served at the Aga Khan Studs in Ireland, Monday morning saw the birth of the first Australian bred foal by Dalakhani as a result his first season at Cornerstone Stud in South Australia last spring.
Perhaps fittingly, the filly foal is out of the Blevic mare I Need To Fly, so is bred on the same famous Dalakhani/Sadler’s Wells cross that produced Reliable Man amongst others.
Cornerstone Stud’s Ross Hatton commented, “The team here at the farm wish to wholeheartedly congratulate breeders Nigel & Helen Atkin on the birth of their beautiful Dalakhani filly, another first for the sire in Australia”.
“Coincidentally Dalakhani will be stepping on to a plane in Heathrow this morning and due to land in Sydney on Satuday”, Hatton continued.
