Roger James is confident Nash Rawiller will be aboard Silent Achiever throughout the mare's Melbourne spring campaign despite the star jockey being based overseas.
Rawiller partnered the New Zealand mare to Group One wins in the Ranvet Stakes and The BMW during the Sydney autumn carnival, along with a fourth in the $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
Rawiller is in Japan for a riding stint until September before taking up a four month contract in Hong Kong.
James said he had spoken to Rawiller who was keen to continue his association with the mare on a hit-and-run basis during the spring.
"I have spoken with Nash at length on a couple of occasions today and he is very confident that he can get a release for every one of her runs and he's very keen to stick with her," James said.
Silent Achiever's main aim is the Melbourne Cup with the Group One Memsie Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on August 30 her first-up assignment.
James said it was great to have a rider of Rawiller's calibre keen to stick with the multiple Group One winner.
"He's a world class rider and I'm just rapt to have somebody like him wanting to ride her," James said.
"He knows her well now too which is also very important to me."
Silent Achiever had a serious gallop in New Zealand on Wednesday, working with stablemate Zonza.
James was delighted with Silent Achiever's work and recovery.
"She is right where we need her at this stage of her preparation," he said.
Weights for the Caulfield Cup will determine whether Silent Achiever runs in that race or the weight-for-age Cox Plate on her way to the Melbourne Cup.
Silent Achiever is due to arrive in Australia on the Tuesday before the Memsie.
