+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This individual passed Dr.Tim Roberts veterinary inspection and also passed X-Ray inspection and Endoscopic inspection.

He was considered by Peter Moody as a "must inspect" colt prior to the sale and by Dr. Tim Roberts and Dean Watt as an outstanding colt and was placed in the top colts at the sale by looks and by pedigree rating score at the saleyard. He was considered "THE TOP COLT" we wanted.

It's easy to rattle off the exciting quotes about this individual. Simply he's stunning.

Q) Why did we buy him ?

A) That's easy to answer !

Pedigree: Before the sale: When researching which lots to inspect prior to the sales we look for certain genetic factors that increase the chance of the yearling being a superior athlete. This pedigree had certain ancestor duplications which we are seeking, to give what we consider a balanced blend of speed and endurance. This colt represented that and was rated our BEST COLT IN THE SALE !

Conformation: He is an excellent looking individual with very good conformation. He's athletic, stands over good ground; has a good length of reign, good angulations to pasterns and shoulders. He has good width of jaw, a deep girth and strong hindquarter, is a terrific walking colt, very purposeful and strong and tracks truly. Importantly he has a good overstep.

Veterinarian: Our veterinarian inspected the colt prior to purchase and believed him to be a quality individual and an outstanding chance. Before purchase, X-Rays were examined with no abnormal findings noted. After purchase an endoscopic test on the horse's airway was performed and found to have normal function.

Fair Market Value: Considering this superior genetic pedigree, the commercial value of the family, excellent athletic conformation and overall strength, We rated the colt as an "A" purchase. We set a strict ceiling price on this horse and were quite prepared to bid up to our limit to secure him.

I valued the colt at $105,000 ++ (plus 2 bids up to $120,000). How ? - The 2006 Service Fee of $11,000, also the fact that his progeny had averaged $113,438 at the Magic Millions in January selling up to $150,000. We saw those individuals in January and ranked this colt superior to those. Therefore we considered this was the best Jet Spur available in 2009 so valued him at $160,000. Then we deducted a 35% discount for Sale status and current economy factors) and we were prepared to pay our ceiling price. I believe we secured a quality individual at correct market value and he represented exceptional value at this price considering we believe he is the best colt by the sire available in 2009.

Note that the service fee for Jet Spur was $11,000 in 2006 increasing to $13,200 in 2007 increasing to $15,000 in 2008. His 2009 Service Fee is set at $16,500 based upon his success at siring outstanding looking foals and yearlings and the demand for the breed in the Sale Ring in 2009.

This COLT was our NUMBER ONE CHOICE !!!

- He has a good length of reign
- Great walker / purposeful stride / good overstep
- Well Balanced individual
- Very Good Type / Runner !!
- Conformationally his front legs are correct with nice short cannon and pastern bones / technically very correct
- Good angulation to pasterns and shoulders
- Excellent width to jaw and nostrils for airflow
- A strong back with excellent depth to girth
- Outstanding hindquarter with perfect length to croup
- The gaskins are strong and deep into the hocks
- Intelligent head
- Hoofs are well structured and all 4 are symmetrical
- Vet Inspection & X-Rays - Both Clean

* This horse met our criteria !

A PROVEN NICK :

NICK = SUCCESS RATE

His Genetics - Bred to a "PROVEN NICK"

Genetically - he's bred to be outstanding. When we went to the sales we were looking first and foremost for the individual. He had to be an equine athlete. It's an incredible set of coincidence until you analyse the statistics and then the old proverb rings true again

"The apple doesn't roll far from the tree".

So, it makes sense to

"keep drilling where oil has been found"

"keep digging where you find gold"

PEDIGREE NOTES - It's all in the genes !

Given the intensity of his pedigree, it is not surprising to see that Flying Spur the sire of Jet Spur seems to enjoy an outcross to his pedigree with colonial strains featuring heavily in his stakes performers. This would be expected to continue through his sire son Jet Spur.

The Star Kingdom line features heavily in Flying Spur's stakes winners, with examples such as Jet Spur, Trezevant, Blur, Flying Babe, Volitant and Joy of Flight.

Flying Spur seems to enjoy a particular affinity with three sons of Biscay but in particular through BLETCHINGLY. This stallion is the sire of the mare of Jet Spur.

Specifically this mating provides a balanced sex cross to Sir Ivor who's also produced a good affinity with Flying Spur and produced Group 1 winners Dealers Principal and Juanmo.

Another successful Northern Dancer line damsire for Flying Spur are GREEN DESERT & LAST TYCOON . He is sire of the dams of Group 1 winner Casino Prince and Group 2 winner Astrodame, while Group 2 winner Shaft has Last Tycoon as her second damsire

Dynamic Syndications spend countless hours researching "nicks" that work !

To ensure we are constantly on the right track we also use the databases of two internationally recognised experts - Werk International and also G1 Stallion Match Matings.

Relating to our colt's pedigree, it is an undeniable that the set of statistical data that supports and defines this pedigree has an outstanding opportunity of producing a well above average thoroughbred.

Werk International's Pedigree Rating produced an extremely high Rating Score : A and 158% Q5, which ranks the colt at the top ranking band available at the Magic Millions National Sale. It has identified 6 Stakes Winners are bred on the Danehill / Green Desert cross.

They are:

ROCKDALE Gr1 Danroad ex Komplete Kaos (Desert Sun)

SISTA Gr3 Magic Of Sydney ex Blister (Desert Sun)

ENGLISH COLONY Rock Of Gibraltar ex Jemima (Owington)

GRACE PARK Danske ex Stella Stargazer (Volksraad)

ROXAN Rock Of Gibraltar ex Gamra (Green Desert)

VOICE COMMANDER Commands ex Voice Mail (Magic Ring)

Whichever set of statistical data you choose to accept for your information flow, it remains constant - Simply, on pedigree this is an exceptionally good mating with a significantly increased opportunity to produced an above average racehorse.

Since we have matched the pedigree to his excellent conformation and athleticism, we are convinced this colt represents a wonderful equine investment opportunity in a quality thoroughbred.

Whilst there can never be any guarantees in thoroughbred breeding and this colt would be no exception to that fact, the reality is that we would always rather take advantage of sets of statistics that are weighted heavily in our favour than to purchase horses bred to be only average in the first instance and then have to pray for a miracle.
