This is an opportunity to become a part owner in a regally bred BOBS filly being trained by one of Sydney's best trainers at Rosehill.


HER SIRE
This filly is by EXCEED AND EXCEL, who was Australian Champion Sprinter 2004. He won the Gr.1 VRC Newmarket Handicap and the Gr.1 MRC Invitation Stakes (in track record time) amongst his seven wins. As a sire, Exceed And Excel continues to do just that, having produced four Gr.1 winners to-date including triple Gr.1 winner HELMET and Blue Diamond winner, REWARD FOR EFFORT. He stands this year at Darley for $66,000.


HER DAM
Her dam PARADISE LOST (Ire) is a daughter of Champion Sire and Champion Broodmare Sire, SADLER’S WELLS. Paradise Lost is bred on the exact same Sadler’s Wells / Darshaan cross as 5-time Gr.1 winner HIGH CHAPARRAL and triple Gr.1 winner ISLINGTON.
Paradise Lost is a half sister to four stakes winners including sire, AFFIDAVIT.
As a broodmare, Paradise Lost has produced three to race for three winners to-date.


TO BE TRAINED BY TIM MARTIN
Like EXCEED AND EXCEL, this filly will be trained by leading Rosehill mentor, Tim Martin. Not only did Tim train her sire, but he also trained horses such as Gr.1 winners REDOUTE’S DANCER, TYPHOON ZED and STORMHILL. He also has his name against such stakes horses as PAMPELONNE, GONSKI, MURTAJILL, OH OKLAHOMA, FIBRILLATION, SPOT THE ROCK, ANEVAY, THE MIKADO, MONTON, LOHAN and INDIAN OCEAN.

I have always been keen to train his progeny, and to-date have had success with the likes of Anevay, an Exceed and Excel filly who was a very smart two year old, winning the Listed Talindert Stakes at Flemington. I also train Love Excels, another classy Exceed and excel filly.

THIS FILLY IS BRED ON A HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL CROSS
Exceed And Excel’s triple Gr.1 winning son HELMET’s dam is a granddaughter of Sadler’s Wells, while our filly is out of a daughter of Sadler’s Wells.
In England, Exceed And Excel has produced four Group winners out of mares bred very similarly to this filly’s dam, Paradise Lost (Ire), who is by Sadler’s Wells out of a Darshaan mare.
Gr.1 winner MARGOT DID is out of a mare whose damsire is Darshaan, while Gr.2 winner INFAMOUS ANGEL is from a Sadler’s Wells mare which is out of a Darshaan mare. Gr.3 winner KLAMMER is out of a Darshaan mare and Gr.3 winner MRS KIPLING is a granddaughter of Sadler’s Wells.


HER CONFORMATION
This filly, born 21st September 2010, is a good sized, correct filly with an attractive head and good length of rein. She has good x-rays and a clear laryngeal scope. Watch this filly stride out at the walk on the accompanying video.


The filly is currently at the breaker's and is coming along extremely well.
