This smashing early August filly is all but guaranteed to get you to the Owners' Room before the end of the year.

She is out of RORY'S JESTER mare Statement, the winner of two races (1000 and 1100m) and a very talented two-year-old. Typical of the Rory's Jester progeny, she won at her second start (Rosehill) as a juvenile, and went straight into the 2yo stakes races, running second in the GROUP 2 STC Magic Night Stakes behind MARDI'S MAGIC (beaten less than a length), and running fourth in both the GROUP 2 STC Reisling Stakes and the GROUP 3 AJC Kindergarten Stakes.

Statement is a half sister to GROUP 2 ACT Black Opal Stakes and Listed Black Opal Preview winner, ZADOK.

Statement is proving a worthwhile broodmare, having produced six to race for four winners to-date by less commercial sires.

The filly's granddam Nature's Splendour also was a 2yo city winner who placed in the GROUP 3 AJC Gimcrack Stakes and the GROUP 3 Light Fingers.

The filly's sire is Group 1 producing stallion, MAGIC ALBERT. While Magic Albert is better known for his top class three year olds, some of his best runners have shown plenty of talent at two years. GROUP 1 winner ILOVETHISCITY won two races as a 2yo, including the Inglis 2yo Classic. Subsequent GROUP 3 winner ZA MAGIC won his first start in the GCTC Magic Millions 2yo Plate.

Magic Albert's stock has a very high 66% winners to runners rate. Trainers love the Magic Albert progeny for their trainability, toughness and longevity on the track. With any luck, this filly will give us a good return at two years and follow through at three and upwards.

This filly is to be trained by the very talented young trainer, JARROD AUSTIN at Warwick Farm. Initially a private trainer for a boutique stable, Jarrod went out on his own in 2011, and has hit the ground running. He has a small team of around 18 horses in work at any one time, and not only trains, but also rides them on slow mornings and knows each horse intimately. Most recently his charge TERRITORY won at Rosehill on 1st March and backed up to win again at Warwick Farm on 8th March.

In his first year of public training Jarrod managed a Warwick Farm double which included a stakes win. He has enjoyed several other memorable wins with horses such as Spinnawitch, Urquidez, Romanus and Private Label. Jarrod has some very nice two year old trial winners in the pipeline and has recently been given an imported German stayer to train.

Jarrod's training fees are on a par with leading provincial trainers, yet offers his owners the expertise, facilities and convenience of a metropolitan trainer.

This well bred filly was selected at the Inglis Classic Sale by Jarrod. Offered late in the sale and as an asset of a company under receivership, she was put through the ring unreserved. On our behalf, Jarrod was poised to snap her up and we can't believe what a purchase he made. She has clean x-rays and scope and is a lovely individual.

Importantly, she is BOBS and Inglis Bonus Scheme Eligible.

She is now at the breaker's, with the aim to have her ready for the early 2yo races this year.
