Description

By Champion 3YO colt, Cox Plate & Australian Guineas winner. Out of a winning Redoute’s Choice mare who is a half-sister to Caulfield Guineas winner KENWOOD MELODY. Super VOBIS and VOBIS Gold registered too!

Jane Baker Racing Stables is a boutique racing stable located in the seaside town of Warrnambool, Victoria. With an easygoing nature and a good sense of humour, Jane has an eye for spotting the potential in a horse without breaking the bank balance.

With a small team, Jane is able to spend time with each horse – learning their ways and finding the secret to maximising their potential. Jane also sees open and honest communication with her owners as paramount.

This gelding offers a terrific, low-cost option for racehorse ownership.

“This gelding has been broken in, is now spelling, and is due to return to training in mid October. He is a lovely horse, with good length of stride and a great temperament.” – Jane Baker

THE SIRE

SHAMUS AWARD was Australia’s Champion 3YO colt of his year, winning of both the Group 1 Cox Plate in the Spring and the Group 1 Australian Guineas (1600m) in the Autumn.

Being the highest rated horse and the only dual Group 1 winner by Australian Champion Sire SNITZEL, he has been a popular stallion at Widden Stud (NSW). And his yearlings have been equally as popular, with his first crop averaging $85,000 in 2017.

He is doing a great job at stud with eight winners from his first crop two-year-olds – his first season. Most of his runners have raced just the once.

THE DAM

BUT ONE REGRET is a winning mare by REDOUTE’S CHOICE, and half-sister to Caulfield Guineas winner KENWOOD MELODY.

She has produced five winners by five different sires, a good sign that she can pass on some ability to her progeny.

THE SHARE PRICE

$915 per 5% share covers all costs to 31-August. And this gelding is registered for the lucrative Super VOBIS and VOBIS Gold schemes (included in share price).

Racehorse Shares Shamus Award

Kinematic Thoroughbred Services (AFSL 452499) is managing the administration and finances of the sale of shares on behalf of Jane Baker – much like a Conveyancer.

After the application process is complete, all communications and invoices will come direct from Jane. And there are no ongoing management fees.

Please read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) associated with this horse before considering this investment
