FLR are wrapped to have purchased our second colt in consecutive years at this sale by Star Witness with Champion trainers Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott – trainers of Star Witness’s dual Group 1 winner Global Glamour!


A Champion 2yo & 3yo colt on the track winning the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes and Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes before taking on the world at Royal Ascot, Star Witness is delivering in spades at stud! He was Australia’s Leading Second Season Sire of Winners last season and is currently sitting third in the Leading Sire of 3yo’s in Australia behind only Snitzel and I Am Invincible.


The sire of Gai & Adrian’s superstar mare Global Glamour, a dual Group 1 and multiple Stakes winner of over $1.1million in prize money, Star Witness also lays claim to brilliant 3yo colt and stallion prospect, the Group 2 winner Star Turn, along with further Stakes winners Fuhryk, Mella Maria, Lord Balmoral, The Barrister – High Volatility, Well Sprung, Pearl Star plus further Stakes performers Kimberley Star (also trained by Gai & Adrian), Magic Alibi, Serenade, Stellar Collisions, Lineker, Typhoon Witness and Eden Roc.


This colt is all power and he descends from a quality speed family. His dam King’s Concubine is doing the job at stud having produced 2 winners and this colt is by far by the best stallion she has been to yet. Furthermore, King’s Concubine is the half-sister to outstanding dual Group 1 winner Response who is the dam of Stakes performed 2yo Alter Call with further stakes winners / performers Returntosender and Pit Lane down the page.
