Description

Dan Markovic, an impassioned owner, has launched his own syndication company titled 'Celebrity'. How fitting it is then to have Francesca Cumani explain the points of a horse, using, this black colt as her model for Markovic's first syndication offering - so just click on the Video link!

By Tale of the Cat, a talented racehorse that won on the turf and dirt, including the Grade 2 King's Bishop Stakes by five-and-a-half lengths at Saratoga and is responsible for 87 stakes winners world-wide and was the standard bearer for his sire line Storm Cat in the southern hemisphere.

Out of a Mr. Prospector mare in Yarn, Tale of the Cat is responsible for the group winners, Gathering, Glamour Puss, Trusting, Falkirk, Real Saga, Nine Tales, Willow Creek, De Lightning Ridge, Booklet, Bantry Bay, Cat D'Antibes and Tell A Tale.

When covering mares by Flying Spur, Tale of the Cat has 13-named progeny and of those eight have been to the races with six of them being recorded as winners. From those winners, Pureness (ex Purespeed) is credited with five wins from 14-starts along with a win in the Group 2 Ajax Stakes at Rosehill in 2011.

This black colt is the first foal out of Tejano's Oasis, a winner of seven races in America over distances that ranged from 1000m to 1700meters.

STOP PRESS: Last weekend, (8/6), Tale of the Cat was represented on Belmont Stakes Day in New York when Forty Tales (ex Forty Love by Forty Niner) won the Grade 2 Woody Stephens Stakes (1400m) and on the same day Tale of a Champion (ex If Angels Sang by Seattle Slew) won the Grade 2 Charles Whittingham Memorial Handicap (2000m).

In Australia, Tale of the Cat is the sire of Purrealist (ex Kenny's Best Pal), in-turn, the sire of Group 1 Queensland Derby winner Hawkspur (ex Mollyhawk by Catbird). While another son by, Tale of the Cat, Real Saga (ex Windy Kate by Air Express) is the sire of Real Surreal (ex Stolen Beauty by Mossman) winner of the Magic Millions 2YO Classic back in January this year. Therefore, if this colt does do well on the track, he could be a sire prospect into the future, as well.

A sister to this colts dam, Tejano's Oasis' in Sunriseontheoasis (Gilded Time - Midnightontheoasis by Gulch), had a filly by Fastnet Rock go through the William Inglis Easter Yearling during April and she sold to James Harron Bloodstock for $725,000.

Only two (2) shares remain in the colt, whom has broken-in and moving well, with all costs paid until June 30th, 2013, you will need to contact us as this black colt is a super prospect.
