That makes it even more pleasing that we were able to secure the three fillies we purchased at very competitive prices.


This Written By x Awesome Planet filly is a half-sister to a Group 1 winner and was bought for just $100,000.


We thought that price was extremely good value considering she is by a young stallion who is continuing to perform and the dam is a proven producer.


She is a strong type of filly and she won’t take long to get to the races at all.


She moved well, was very professional and ticked all the boxes we like to use.

Written By was a star two-year-old! He won his first four starts including a December debut. He came back in the New Year to win the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude on his way to Group 1 Blue Diamond victory. He then went to Sydney and won the Group 3 Pago Pago Stakes before a brave fourth in the Golden Slipper. He only raced against the best and won four of his five starts as a juvenile. He was named Champion Two-Year-Old Colt.


The son of Written Tycoon came back at three to win the Group 3 Blue Sapphire in the Spring and again a brave fourth placing in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes.


Just like on the track, he was as quick out of the blocks at stud. He had the pre-post favourite for the Magic Millions 2YO Classic, The Novelist, unfortunately being scratched in the lead-up. He was a winner of the Group 3 Bruce McLachlan Stakes on Christmas Eve.


Written By is the sire of five Stakes winners and four of those were juvenile Stakes winners.


This filly certainly fits the mould.



DAM: AWESOME PLANET



Awesome Planet is a Group 1-producing mare with Awesome Rock claiming the Emirates Stakes during the Flemington Carnival. She isn’t a one trick pony with two other Stakes horses amongst here six winners. Earth and Exceed The Planet are both Stakes performed horses from the mare.


She has been a top producer but she was a fine racehorse herself. After two Stakes wins in New Zealand she came across to win the Group 3 Doomben Roses.


This filly is a half sister of a G1 wining stallion AWESOME ROCK, she has rigid value as a broodmare already.
Healthy Wood Co. is going to buy her out when she is retired to stud, which means you are pretty much guaranteed to get some money back at the end, and if she gets black type, status the value will jump up and you can expect a large return on your investment,
