RUBY EDITION is a very lightly raced 4yo Mare that was imported from Great Britain as a weanling. (making her 6 months younger than Australian born 4yos)


She was broken in and educated through the Phillip Stokes racing system with whom she had the first 7 of her starts.


She has only had the 11 starts to date, where she has had a WIN, a 2nd and a 3rd.


She WON at Stony Creek over 1600ms first up earlier this year.


She was narrowly beaten at GEELONG, running 2nd over 2470ms where she flashed down the outside. She also ran 3rd at WERRIBEE over 2000ms, going down only 1/2 length.


She is by Group 1 Winner PETHER'S MOON (IRE), a 7 x winner from 1610m to 2424m, out of 5 x Winner ELA D'ARGENT, a winner from 1600m to 3300ms!


Ele D'Argent is Half-sister to LISTED, and Group Placed 7 x Winner WINGED D'ARGENT, and Greta d'Argent, the dam of BEAU RECALL, an extremely talented 8 x multiple GROUP winning Galloper.


RUBY EDITION was sold to her new Owner 4 starts back as her previous owner was drastically reducing stock.


She has had 4 starts under her new ownership but hasn't been living up to her previous form and racing style. She had blood work done this week and it shows she has a virus which is being treated.


RUBY has shown she can Gallop, and has the potential and pedigree to be a quality stayer.
