This filly is from the smart stakes-placed three time winner Desert Mistral, herself a half sister to the dual Group One winner Desert Sky (VATC CF Orr S., Futurity S.).
This filly was withdrawn from the Inglis Melbourne P11 sale in early March due to a minor injury, from which she is now recovered.
She is a lengthy filly (like most Artie Schiller progeny) and is a lovely walker. As a later foal, she still has plenty of growing to do, but has a deep shoulder and powerful backend (also like her sire).
This filly has the residual dual-purpose value of being a great racing proposition with an outstanding future broodmare potential.
First Crop Yearlings by US Breeders Cup winner Artie Schiller have sold for up to $165,000 in Australia this year.
Artie Schiller was a brilliant multiple stake-winner from 1200m-1800m on Turf in the US and is a sone of the proven sire of sires El Prado. El Prado was himself a Champion US sire and his first two sire sons, Megdallio Doro and Kitten's Joy are among the hottest stallions in the US this season.
