Bevan and Richard Laming

Both Bevan and Richard have simple philosophies that they put into practice exceedingly well. Feed your horses the best feed, place your horses in the right races, be patient with your horse and ensure at all times that their horses are cared for in a relaxed environment. Luckily this relaxed environment is easily attained.

Laming Racing train their horses out of their own state-of-the-art facilities in both Queensland and Victoria.

History and past success aside, perhaps both Richard's and Bevan's reputation for their directness and honesty is what sets them apart. Laming Racing will look you straight in the eye and give you an honest educated assessment on exactly where your horse is heading.

Racehorse Training

Bevan and Richard Laming form a unique partnership. A father son combination, it is in the best interest of all for hard work and stability to be performed for raceday success. Bevan has trained horses for 45 years with much success including Group 1 glory. Bevan has passed much of his worldly knowledge onto his son Richard who is an outstanding horseman in his own right. A combination and recipe for success.

CAREFUL HORSE SELECTION

We feel it is most important to be selective when purchasing a racehorse or yearling from any auction or private sale. The Laming Team employ the nations best Equine Vets to carefully assess all horses prior to purchase.

Facilities

Laming Racing operates from properties in Jacobs Well (Queensland) and Clyde (Victoria) from state-of-the-art premises.

CLYDE - We boast an 80 acre Horse Training Paradise. Quiet and tranquil, this property has been designed to provide each and every individual thoroughbred with the greatest chance to develop and achieve.

Facility Includes -

2000m Grass Track (with 2 shutes for home trials)

1900m Sand Track climbing 4 metres from the 800m mark

100m Straight Swimming Pool

Hurdle Shute

Uphill Treadmill

Paddocks with Lockup Boxes on each
