sire MOONLARK (USA) first small crop are just 2yo and impressing. MOONLARK, trained by Bob Baffert (AMERICAN PHAROAH, ARROGATE, JUSTIFY), beating $678,000 multi G2 winner STONESIDE (IRE) by six and half lengths in 1100m Feature Race. Please watch video. Track record for that year and just shy of track record for all time while being eased to the line.


Injury halted MOONLARK's stats. This equates to him being affordable ($7700 freshman fee) and his impressive youngsters are affordable. Several Trainers already so suitably impressed that four have asked to lease them for themselves.


MOONLARK's dam's half brothers (entire, n5) are ALL BLACK TYPE horses and ALL are standing stallions in the USA. One half, a record breaking US$2Million 2yo Ready To Run purchase, another a US$1.5million yearling. His grandam a $1Million Broodmare. He has a depth and sire's pedigree to say the least.

He is out of racewinner White Lion Fever (Lion Hunter) mare. She was used in coloured thoroughbred breeding program so her progeny other than this bloke was not bred for racetrack primarily. This is worth noting. A pic of her palomino progeny and this bloke's halves at the end of listing for validation. Therefore, his first dams catalogue is not a valid yardstick. Upside is this bloke is priced exceptionally for the quality in front of you.


The random patches could be a bit of an omen with the bloods clicking and coming through like they had with sprinting sensation & $4.5Mil winner APACHE CAT and 'Marks' sire, MOONLARK (USA) - their sires are full brothers. Not to mention NATIVE DANCER had a large patch of white on his belly. Also MARQUETRY $3.2Mil winner had one of these random patches on his leg and of course STARSPANGLEDBANNER with a patch on his girth as well as BIG BROWN (USA) one on his shoulder.
