A filly by Frankel out of 2007 English and Irish 1000 Guineas winner Finsceal Beo has fetched E1.8 million ($A2.70 million) at the Goffs November Sale, a record for a foal at public auction in Ireland.
The foal from Frankel's first crop was sent from the Al-Eile Stud and bought by Dermot Farrington Bloodstock.
"They (Frankel's progeny) don't come up for sale very often so I'm very happy to get her," Farrington said.
"She's been bought for a new client and will stay in Ireland for the time being."
The filly is the fifth foal out of her dam who was trained by Jim Bolger.
Finsceal Beo's third foal, Ol' Man River, is the pick of the crop so far.
Bought for a record E2.85 million as a yearling last year, the Montjeu colt was a smooth winner of his debut before capturing the Group Two Beresford Stakes at the Curragh and is a big Classic hope for the Aidan O'Brien stable in 2015.
