A fleeting visit to Ireland to watch Aidan O'Brien at work has fuelled Chris Waller's ambitions to do even better than he already has.
Sydney's premier trainer is also the Group One champion for 2014 with Moriarty bringing up No.10 in Saturday's Kingston Town Stakes in Perth.
Eight of those Group One wins have come this season which is just four months old.
With major carnivals in the new year in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Waller will once again be a force.
He has been charged with the autumn campaign of Coolmore's Adelaide who won the Cox Plate for O'Brien.
The trainer for global racing and breeding operation Coolmore, O'Brien has around 250 Group One wins on his record.
"Things are a little different over there because they are not training on racetracks as we are," Waller said.
"Aidan was very respectful of our racing but just to see how he does things was a mind blowing experience.
"His attention to detail is amazing and his record keeping is immaculate.
"It is different than it is here because Aidan is there with the horses from conception, to foaling to when they are broken in which is when he takes over.
"He gets to identify the ones thinks are exceptional and develops them into stallions.
"He has all the information he needs about every horse and has shown me I can take my training ability to a new level."
Waller said O'Brien importantly also managed to strike a balance with his work and his family life.
While Waller has much to think about from his trip, his immediate focus will be the Group Two Villiers Stakes (1600m) on Saturday.
"We will have I'm Imposing, Strawberry Boy and Multilateral in the race," he said.
"They are all going well."
I'm Imposing was an upset winner of the Festival Stakes, the traditional Villiers lead-up, with Strawberry Boy third and Multilateral sixth.
