David Brideoake and David Feek have been a consistent combination over their four year partnership.
But the win of the lightly raced Our Harmony at Sandown on Wednesday may be the last time they combine for victory with Feek going out on his own from later this month.
Feek said it was time for him to start his own operation after having a thorough grounding in Europe, America and Australia.
Unfortunately for Feek, Our Harmony won't be joining his new stable as the filly is part-owned by Brideoake.
"It's new pastures for me," Feek said.
"It's been a great four years and very successful.
"I've had a good grounding in Europe and America and looking forward to a new start and it would be good if the phone was ringing after that."
Feek said Our Harmony was a real running machine who showed a lot of courage in winning on Wednesday and she may be seen back in action at Sandown on Boxing Day.
"I couldn't have been happier with her since her Yarra Valley (maiden) win," Feek said.
"She's not the tallest or scopiest horse in the world.
"She's quite small but she's got a ferocious appetite and she's falling in love with this game.
"If she pulls up OK she may come back here on Boxing Day."
Apprentice Regan Bayliss said Our Harmony travelled sweetly through the race.
"She wanted to stargaze a bit, but when I pulled the stick through to the left hand she knuckled down well," Bayliss said.
"It was a good win. She's a little professional."
