Leading Melbourne apprentice Regan Bayliss has had his momentum halted with an eight meeting suspension for his winning ride on Our Harmony at Sandown on Wednesday.
Bayliss was outed for allowing Our Harmony to shift in passing the 1100m mark, causing Tennessee Spirit, ridden by Dwayne Dunn, to be checked.
The 17-year-old can ride at Flemington on Saturday but will miss the Cranbourne meeting that night before returning for the Flemington meeting on December 20.
Bayliss was also given a reprimand for his ride aboard Lonhruge in the opening race with stewards saying he should have made a greater effort to restrain his mount for cover earlier in the race and for also causing Aurora Lights (Dunn) to steady near the 800m.
