Apprentice Patrick Moloney has had his appeal against a nine meeting suspension dismissed by the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board.
Moloney was suspended for careless riding aboard Last Sight in the final event at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
The RAD Board ruled Moloney start the suspension immediately with the in-form apprentice having to forego rides at Moonee Valley on Friday night and Flemington on Saturday.
Riding under a stay of proceedings, the youngster booted home a winner at Sandown last Saturday and a double at the midweek meeting on Wednesday.
However, his celebrations were soured when stewards issued another careless riding suspension for his winning effort aboard Cool at the midweek program.
Moloney was outed for 11 meetings and won't return to the saddle until Boxing Day.
