Tye Angland has suffered a double loss at Randwick with a suspension added to his relegation from first to second in a protest.
Angland rode The Alfonso to win the 1600m Plate but lost the race for causing shifting in and causing interference Blake Shinn's mount Diametric.
In the incident, the fifth placegetter Laidback Larry lost his running and the combination of events resulted in a suspension starting after Wednesday.
He will be back on Australia Day.
Apprentice Koby Jennings' was also outed for his winning ride on Great Esteem but his impeccable record meant a much shorter ban.
Jennings will serve just two meetings after he rides at Nowra on Tuesday and will be back next Saturday.
