In more bad news for Peter Moody, the trainer will have to front Racing NSW stewards over one of his horses testing positive to ibuprofen on two occasions.
Moody is one of three Melbourne trainers under investigation by Victorian officials into elevated levels of cobalt found in horses which raced during the spring carnival.
He operates stables at Randwick in addition to his Caulfield base. Ibuprofen was found in a blood sample taken from House Of Hingis before she finished fifth at Rosehill on November 15.
Both a pre-race blood sample and post-race urine sample taken from the filly at Warwick Farm where she finished third on November 28 also tested positive to the banned substance which is a non-steroidal anti inflammatory.
Moody, who is in New Zealand for the yearling sales, has been called to an inquiry on Monday week.
Samples taken on December 16 from all horses in Moody's Randwick stable returned negative results.
Warwick Farm trainer Gary Portelli was fined $6000 in November when one of his horses returned a positive to the same substance. The fine was later halved on appeal.
The Racing Victoria investigation into higher than allowed readings of cobalt returned by horses in the Moody, Mark Kavanagh and Danny O'Brien stables is continuing.
