Endless Shadow to keep rolling at Doomben

Suggestions Endless Shadow's win on Magic Millions day was a fluke have made her trainer Peter Hulbert laugh.

Endless Shadow gave the popular Hulbert one of his biggest wins when she won the Magic Millions Fillies and Mares Quality in impressive fashion two weeks ago.

She will be among the favourites for the $100,000 Nudgee Quality at Doomben on Saturday.

Hulbert has always had a big opinion of Endless Shadow who scored her seventh race win in the Magic Millions race.

"How they can say it was a fluke has me beaten. She went around five deep without any cover but ran over the top of a good field," Hulbert said.

"It was no fluke as you only have to look at her other form where she has been very consistent without having any luck."

The trainer says he will probably ease Endless Shadow after Saturday's race with a possible winter carnival campaign in the wings.

"I think she might be a length or two off the main winter carnival races. But a race like the Silk Stocking at the Gold Coast on Prime Minister's Cup day would suit her," he said.

"She does like the Gold Coast and the top mares don't usually contest it. If she goes OK in that we can look at something a bit stronger."

Jockey Tegan Harrison, who had a treble at Doomben on Wednesday, will again ride Endless Shadow and she was very impressed with the mare's win.

"I was the first to say it probably wasn't my best ride but maybe that's the way she goes best when out of trouble," she said.

Endless Shadow did her early racing in Brisbane but then had a stint in the south where she raced in Adelaide and Melbourne running seven minor placings.

She returned to Hulbert in Brisbane last year and has rarely been far from the placings.
