Racing will return to Caulfield on February 14 as planned after the newly renovated course proper was given the final tick of approval on Tuesday.
Eight jump-outs were staged on the track and chief steward Terry Bailey gave the green light for racing to start back at Caulfield for the Group One CF Orr Stakes meeting.
The course proper resurfacing started straight after the Caulfield Cup meeting in October.
"We're delighted with how the process has gone but it's great to receive official clearance from Racing Victoria and glowing reports from the jockeys this morning," Caulfield track manager Jason Kerr said.
"Having walked the track after jump-outs there is virtually no mark on the track so we couldn't be more pleased."
