Blake Shinn's decision to appeal a careless riding suspension paid a handsome dividend on Wednesday when the leading jockey rode four winners at Randwick.
But the best might still be in front of the glamour jockey as he prepares to ride Shooting To Win at Rosehill ahead of a trip to Singapore.
Shinn appealed a five-meeting suspension from Rosehill on February 7 in a bid to keep the early autumn ride on Caulfield Guineas winner Shooting To Win.
Shooting To Win will resume as favourite to win the Hobartville Stakes on Saturday.
Shinn will be in the international spotlight on Sunday when he rides the John Thompson-trained Auvray in a race restricted to China Horse Club-owned runners at Kranji.
On the home front, Shinn's quartet has taken him to the lead in the Sydney jockey's premiership after Hugh Bowman and James McDonald failed to land winners.
His tally stands at 57-1/2 winners after his wins on Vanbrugh, Danjeu, Ballet Suite and Happy Clapper.
Shinn's appeal against his careless riding ban will be heard on March 6.
