Premier trainer Chris Waller will have a strong contingent as he attempts an unprecedented fifth consecutive win in Sydney's first Group One for the year.
The late Guy Walter won the Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m) four years in a row from 1999 with the great Tie The Knot.
Waller began his winning streak with Danleigh in 2011, with Shoot Out winning the next two and Boban successful last year.
"We will have quite a few runners and Boban will be among them," Waller said.
"Weary, Junoob and Hawkspur will also be there and perhaps a few others."
Boban has not won a race since the 2014 Chipping Norton but is undefeated at the track where he won his only other start in April 2013.
He had a bleeding attack in the Queen Elizabeth stakes last autumn and failed to win a race in the spring.
He finished midfield, beaten just under three lengths, second-up in the Apollo Stakes won by Contributer who will be one of two Godolphin imports in the Chipping Norton.
James McDonald will stick with Contributer while Godolphin's newly-retained English jockey James Doyle flies from Dubai to ride Hartnell, a recent barrier trial winner.
Both Doyle and Godolphin's other international rider William Buick will ride in big races in Sydney over the carnival.
"James Doyle will also ride Holler in the Skyline Stakes while James McDonald will be on Exosphere," Godolphin trainer John O'Shea said.
Two-year-olds Holler and Exosphere will put their Golden Slipper credentials to the test when they take on the Gai Waterhouse-trained Vancouver in the Skyline.
Waterhouse took Vancouver out of Saturday's Silver Slipper, preferring to give him a barrier trial on Monday ahead of his next start.
The winner of the Breeders' Plate and the Canonbury Stakes, Vancouver lost his position at the head of Golden Slipper betting when Headwater scored an authoritative win in the Silver Slipper.
Holler has had just one start for a win at Randwick last month while Exosphere won at Kembla Grange at his second start.
