The distance and prize money of the VOBIS Gold Rush at Bendigo has trainer Sam Pritchard-Gordon favouring the provincial race over a stakes option for Tiz My View.
Two-year-old Tiz My View is nominated for Saturday's $250,000 race over 1000m and also the Listed St Albans Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
The Gold Rush carries bonuses as part of the VOBIS incentive series for Victorian bred horses.
"Our preference would be the Bendigo race given that it's VOBIS Gold," Pritchard-Gordon said.
"I thought she was very good at her last start and she seems to have taken that race very well.
"At this stage it's all systems go."
Jack Hill has been booked to ride Tiz My View at Bendigo.
The Snitzel filly just missed a place when fourth in a Listed 1000m race at Flemington last Saturday week, won by Golden Slipper hopeful Ready For Victory.
"I think she's better suited at 1000 metres as opposed to 1200, but that said we may well accept in the Moonee Valley race just to see how that field pans out. It may end up falling away a little bit," the trainer said.
Bendigo is the main meeting in Victoria on Saturday and features the Listed Bendigo Guineas (1400m), the Listed Golden Mile (1600m) and the Gold Rush.
The Golden Mile has 36 nominations with New Zealand Group One winner Puccini heading the weights on 60kg ahead of the David Hayes and Tom Dabernig-trained trio of Guest Of Honour (59.5kg), Stipulate (59kg) and Jacquinot Bay (59kg).
Stakes winners Chivalry and Java are among 38 nominations for the Bendigo Guineas.
The 25 entries for the Gold Rush includes dual stakes placegetter Miss Gidget.
