As he prepares to ramp up his autumn carnival presence, Anthony Cummings is also hoping to resurrect the career of a former stable topliner at Warwick Farm.
Cummings will have runners in all three Group One races this week starting with Fontelina who will be out to avenge close second to Spirit Of Boom last year in the William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley on Friday night.
The following day at Rosehill, Miss Interiors runs in the Vinery Stud Stakes and Fiveandahalfstar will be out to recapture the BMW which he won two years ago.
But first Strike The Stars runs at Warwick Farm on Wednesday as topweight in the benchmark 80 over 1600 metres.
The winner of the 2011 Group Three Gloaming Stakes and a close fifth in the Spring Champion Stakes, Strike The Stars' career has been interrupted by injury.
His West Australian owner Neven Botica gave him a try in Perth but sent him back to his original trainer.
"He went to Perth and it didn't really work out over there. The owner thought he still had something to offer so he sent him back," Cummings said.
"His run at Canberra was average but he had a trial last week and he went OK and this looks like a nice race for him.
"It will show whether he has still got the zest for racing or not."
Strike The Stars will get some relief from his 61kg with apprentice Koby Jennings' claim bringing him in with 58kg.
Koroibete will carry 60kg and the much-travelled Silverball has 59.5kg.
Trained by Chris Waller, Silverball began his career in France then went to Hong Kong where he raced as Crackerjack.
He came up short at Group One level and was sent to Australia where he has had one start for a second over 1500m at Rosehill last Saturday week.
