David Hayes was the beneficiary of an extra payout when Jurasound won the Mornington Guineas.
Hayes, who trains the filly in partnership with nephew Tom Dabernig, is also a part-owner of the three-year-old which scored a widening victory in the 1500m race on Saturday.
Besides the $60,000 first prize, connections also picked-up a further $50,000 in VOBIS bonus money.
Ridden by Dwayne Dunn, Jurasound ($9) scored a three-length victory over Malaguerra ($7), with Thinking Of You ($5.50) a nose away third.
With Hayes in Sydney for The BMW meeting at Rosehill, Dabernig said Jurasound would be chasing more VOBIS and VOBIS Gold prizemoney at Caulfield over 1600m on April 18.
"These races are a great incentive and a great advertisement for VOBIS and the big boss Dave is rubbing his hands together," Dabernig said.
"The filly is in a purple patch of form and she was really authoritative today."
Dabernig said the stable had made the right decision in electing not to run Jurasound in the Bendigo Guineas last week.
He said Jurasound had drawn wide at Bendigo, but had been successful at the tricky Mornington circuit previously.
Dunn said Jurasound still had a lot of learning to do and was far from being bottomed out.
"She's done a great job along the way, but I reckon she's got some natural ability still to come out," he said.
