Leading Sydney apprentice Winona Costin will be sidelined for at least two weeks after a fall at Wellington.
Costin was taken to Dubbo Hospital on Sunday and remained there overnight.
Her manager Tony Haining was at the meeting and said she was lucky to have escaped more serious injuries than a bruised jaw and left ankle along with concussion.
Haining said she would have a couple of weeks off.
The news for young Victorian jockey Jack Hill was encouraging on Monday with his condition revised from critical to serious but stable.
Hill has been unconscious since he fell at Donald on Friday and was taken to Melbourne's Alfred Hospital.
