Signoff nominated for Flemington return

Classy stayer Signoff is nominated to make his return to the races at Flemington on Saturday.

The Darren Weir-trained stayer ended his spring campaign with a fourth in the Melbourne Cup after winning his way into the famous race with victory in the Lexus Stakes three days earlier.

Signoff is among 34 nominations for the 1600m handicap on the Flemington card.

Entries for the Listed Galilee Series Final (2500m) for three-year-olds have been extended until Tuesday after 10 nominations were taken on Monday.
