A Fastnet Rock filly has become the 10th yearling to fetch $1 million or more at the three-day Easter Yearling sale in Sydney.
Melbourne trainer John Sadler signed for the $1 million filly out of Group winner Hips Don't Lie at the third session on Thursday.
The international buying bench has been strong over the three days with Dubai's Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum taking away the most expensive lot offered at the sale.
The sheikh, who owns dual Group One winning two-year-old Pride Of Dubai, paid $2.2 million for a brother to Group One winner Sizzling out of Admirelle.
The colt helped his sire Snitzel to prominence over the three days with a colt out of Alinghi going for $1.8 million, giving him the top two lots.
A Fastnet Rock colt out of Wiener, a half sister to Snitzel, was also among the millionaires.
Arrowfield Stud proprietor John Messara will announce the 2015 service fee on Friday for Snitzel who stood at $65,000 last season.
"He is on an upward curve as a stallion and looks like the successor to his sire Redoute's Choice," Messara said.
"I'm very happy with the results of the sale.
"We will announce Snitzel's service fee tomorrow."
Redoute's Choice, now an 18-year-old, was also in the limelight with a filly out of Weekend Beauty knocked down to Japanese interests for $1.1 million.
Four-time Group One winner Sepoy set what is believed to be an Australian record for a first season sire when a colt out of Ancient Song went for $1.6 million.
