Nick Hall has beaten a careless riding ban, clearing the leading jockey to take important rides at Flemington on Saturday.
Hall fronted the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Tuesday to fight a 12-meeting ban for his ride on Under The Louvre in the Anniversary Vase at Caulfield on Saturday.
Stewards found Hall had raced too close to the heels of Gracious Prospect, claiming he put himself in a precarious situation.
But Hall told Tuesday's hearing he was aware of his actions and there was no danger associated with his riding.
His appeal was upheld after a 40-minute deliberation.
