Australian star Criterion has drawn the rails for the Group One QEII Cup at Sha Tin.
Criterion is making his second trip to Hong Kong and he will start one of the favourites in the 2000m race after a clear-cut win in the $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.
The four-year-old, which ran third in the Hong Kong Cup in December, will be joined in Sunday's race by well-travelled English veteran Red Cadeaux.
Brave as usual in finishing second to Criterion at Randwick, Red Cadeaux will start from gate nine in the 11-horse field.
Hong Kong's best chances drew contrasting barriers with Designs On Rome to start from 11 and Military Attack to jump from gate two.
