Bring Me The Maid has arrived in Brisbane to strengthen trainer Peter Moody's assault on the winter carnival.

Moody was back where it all started on Saturday to supervise five runners at the Gold Coast meeting.

He was stable foreman for Bill Mitchell when General Nediym won the 1997 Magic Millions Two-Year-Old Classic.

Moody has gone on to become one of Australia's leading trainers and operates stables at Caulfield and Randwick.

He had little luck on Saturday with only one of his runners, Upham, managing a place but he expects to play a big part in the upcoming weeks.

"It was just one of those days when nothing went right. Things just didn't pan out but we will be back," Moody said.

Bring Me the Maid is being set for the Brisbane Group One sprint treble of the BTC Cup (1200m), Doomben 10,000 (1350m) and the Stradbroke (1350m).

"If she isn't up to those races we can drop her back a notch to some of the three-year-old features," Moody said.

Bring Me the Maid, who ran third in the 2014 Golden Slipper, has won twice in Group Two company and was fourth in last year's Group One Thousand Guineas.

She begins her Brisbane campaign on the back of a nose second to Delectation in the Group Two Arrowfield Sprint on April 11 at Randwick.

Her stablemate Wish Come True is headed to the Listed Toowoomba Cup (2100m) on Saturday after missing a run in the Hollindale Stakes as an emergency.

"He can head up there and after that we will see which way to head," Moody said.

The Toowoomba feature will also be the target for the Gai Waterhouse-trained Pornichet who missed the Hollindale as third emergency.

Wish Come True ran second in the Tattersall's Cup (2200m) last year at his only Brisbane run.
