Melbourne trainer Colin Little has been fined $1750 after one of his horses returned a positive swab to the banned anti-inflammatory Ibuprofen.
A post-race sample taken from Phantom Brew after he won at Caulfield on February 14 showed the presence of the drug.
Little pleaded guilty and was fined $1500 for presenting Phantom Brew to race with a prohibited substance in his system and another $250 for failing to keep adequate treatment records.
Phantom Brew was also disqualified as the winner of the race.
