Singapore trainer Michael Freedman is considering a Melbourne spring carnival assault with unbeaten two-year-old Super One.
Freedman and Super One's owners are eyeing the Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington with the colt.
Super One made it three straight victories when he took out Singapore's biggest two-year-old race, the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe (1200m) on Friday night.
Freedman said there was still a lot of water to go under the bridge before the go-ahead was given for the son of I Am Invincible to head to Melbourne.
He said a lack of suitable races for three-year-olds in Singapore in the second half of the year made the trip attractive.
"At the moment we're weighing up all different options but the Coolmore is one we'll give consideration to," Freedman said.
"If we do come to Melbourne it doesn't impact on anything too much up here.
"There's not a lot up here for three-year-olds between August and Christmas, so it wouldn't have any impact on anything that he'd be getting ready for."
Freedman is no stranger to travelling from his Singapore base.
He prepared Better Be The One to finish third to J J The Jet Plane in the Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan on Dubai World Cup night in 2011 and gave Super Easy, a half-brother to Tiger Tees, Terravista and Ball Of Muscle, a two-run campaign in Hong Kong in 2012.
The younger brother of Hall Of Fame trainer Lee, Freedman considered bringing Super Easy to Melbourne for a tilt at the Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes and Toorak Handicap in 2012, but elected to stay in Singapore chasing domestic Group One races.
Freedman said Super One would now have a short break before being prepared for the Juvenile Championship in Singapore at the end of July.
