Peter Gelagotis has become the second Victorian trainer to be suspended this week for a breach of the raceday treatment rules.
Gelagotis fronted the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Friday and pleaded guilty to a charge relating the oral administration of an amino acid to Axis Point before the horse was due to start in a race at Warrnambool on May 5.
Axis Point was scratched by Racing Victoria stewards after they received a report from their compliance assurance team.
Gelagotis is considering whether to appeal the three-month penalty.
Earlier this week Caulfield trainer Brendan McCarthy was suspended for three months after pleading guilty to injecting Zedi Knight with a medication on April 4, the day he was due to race at Caulfield.
