CrownBet has become the second online bookmaker to provide live vision of Victorian racing to its members.
The company, which was rebranded in March from Beteasy when James Packer joined forces with Matthew Tripp, Monday announced on Monday it would provide the service to its customers via its website immediately and other platforms in the near future.
CrownBet joins Sportsbet as wagering service providers to enter into non-exclusive digital rights agreements with Racing Victoria.
"We are pleased to partner with CrownBet in an agreement which supports our objective of achieving a broader distribution of Victorian thoroughbred racing to support growth and engagement," Racing Victoria's chief executive Bernard Saundry said.
The announcement comes as negotiations between RV and Sky Channel have broken down with broadcasts of Victorian racing to end on the TAB-owned channel on Monday unless a deal can be done.
RV has nominated Seven West Media as it preferred partner with the broadcaster reported to be ready to start transmission of Victorian racing on Tuesday if the race clubs agree.
