Rain brought a halt to the Seymour meeting on Thursday but there will be no such problems at Pakenham.

Friday's meeting at the Victorian provincial track of Pakenham will be run on the Polytrack and will be the fourth meeting since racing began on the synthetic surface in may.

Rain in NSW has forced Friday's meeting at a waterlogged Dubbo track to be cancelled and rescheduled to next Thursday.

Racing at Gosford has also been called off and Randwick is already in the heaviest range with more rain coming before Saturday's meeting.
