Dwayne Dunn has moved into a share of the lead in the Melbourne jockeys' premiership with wins in the first two races at Moonee Valley.
Dunn started Saturday's meeting two wins behind co-leaders Damien Oliver and Craig Williams who are in England riding at Royal Ascot.
But victories aboard Every Faith and smart two-year-old Mawahibb moved Dunn level on 47 wins.
"There's still a long way to go," Dunn said.
"It's a good result so far (today), I had been struggling a bit.
Dunn didn't ride a winner at the metropolitan meeting at Ballarat on Wednesday when Oliver and Williams were also away.
Every Faith got home by a neck over First Bloom in the Friends Of Epworth Handicap before the Hawkes Racing two-year-old Mawahibb led all the way to post a four-length win in the Silver Thomas Hanley Handicap).
