Connections of Ava's Delight could not have wished for a better advertisement with her victory at Moonee Valley on Saturday.
The daughter of Artie Schiller is listed to go under the hammer next week.
"She's off to the sales on Wednesday, so hopefully that might put a bit more value on her," trainer Darren Weir said after Ava's Delight's win in the Health Science Planning Consultants Handicap.
"She could race on and maybe the owners might rethink the decision, but they've got plenty horses and have to move some on."
Ridden by in-form apprentice Harry Coffey, Ava's Delight ($14) scored a short half-head win over Westsouthwest ($19), denying Dwayne Dunn a fourth winner for the meeting.
Digitalism, the $2.35 favourite, was held-up for a run before gaining a late split and finished third, 1-1/2 lengths further back.
The victory was Ava's Delight fifth from 31 starts and took her prize money past $400,000.
